About the Photographer
AV Rasmussen moved from Dallas, Texas to Columbus, MS in the midst of the Covid pandemic and fell in love with the landscape of the Deep South. Their photographs have appeared (under the name “Allene Nichols”) in journals including Mason Street: The Literary Magazine of Newark Public Library, San Pedro, River Review, and Aurora Journal, in the anthologies Into the Glen: Into the Light and Lifting the Sky: Southwestern Haiku and Haiga; and in the online exhibition Believe 2021 with Gallerium.Art.
